Cruelty-Free Vegan Non-toxic

I believe we should cause as little harm as we possibly can, whilst caring and looking after each other. This means only using products and ranges which; never test on animals, use derivitives that cause them or the environment harm, and nothing that may harm us and the environment we live in.

The ranges I use are not only in-line with these ethics, but also award-winning and part of the ever-growing sector of the wellness industry committed to greener, sustainable practice.

Every client I see and treat, whether it be their first or hundredth massage, will receive tailor made treatments. Each one of us are not only beautifully unique and individual, but our minds, bodies, and emotions all fluctuate and change as naturally as the seasons. You may be feeling for example, certain emotions, aches, & anxiety one day, and these factors are taken into account to ensure you receive the healing that is right for you.

It is paramount that this is recognised, so you are treated as a whole person, and with attention and understanding.

I deeply value the trust my clients have in me, as well as their loyalty, and it is my pleasure to continue to listen, and design your treatment to match needs and deliver effective results.

Sometimes making changes to more ethical, sustainable consumer choices can be a bit overwhelming. Here’s some links and suggestions to make green swaps easy and enjoyable!

https://www.ethicalconsumer.org/ - A fantastic resource for all aspects of living.

https://myplasticfreelife.com/plasticfreeguide/ - Great advice for living with less plastic, contains some suggestions we would never normally consider, which make more sense and less waste!

https://treadingmyownpath.com/2019/01/03/zero-waste-for-free/ - I love this site, great ideas and ways of thinking which are beneficial for us and the planer.

https://www.sustainyourstyle.org/old-environmental-impacts - Fashion is the second biggest polluter in the world. This site gives more information, and sustainable ways to enjoy style and fashion.

https://www.massagetherapy.com/articles/healing-effects-massage-mind - Our minds and bodies are not separate. We also have emotional, energetic and spiritual bodies which make up our whole self. Recognising this truth and treating ourselves with this view allows a full and complete healing to take place.

https://www.thinkdirtyapp.com/ - A great app and reminder to be aware of harmful ingredients in all personal care products. The less toxins and harsh chemicals the better! Brands such as “Method” are sold widely in supermarkets, and one example of ways to bring less toxicity into our homes and lives.

  • My family and I regularly shop and donate to charity shops. Clothes swaps are also rapidly gaining momentum - “Little Green Social” is a family run Plant based cafe in Newcastle which hosts events including clothes swap nights.

  • Animal Testing needs to be history, but sadly it still continues. Always check that products - home and personal care - do not test on our animal friends. Vegan friendly products mean no derivitives of animals are used, which removes another layer of unneccasary suffering.

  • Lastly, value yourself and the time you deserve to keep that sweet balance of wellness. We make such little time for peace and stillness, aim to keep your time for healing and relaxing a nonnegotiable. Your body and mind will thank you for it.
